Alderspring
Ranch offers
a complete line of beef products including all typical cuts,
ground beef (90-95% lean), a variety of sausages made without
preservatives, and hickory smoked steak strips. Small quantities are
available seasonally at the Boise 8th Street Farmer's Market and year-round
at the Boise Consumer Co-op. Packs of 20-40 lbs. as well as quarters,
halves and wholes are available for home delivery in parts of Idaho
and Western Montana.
Our Angus cattle are raised from start to finish
on our mountain ranch in remote east-central Idaho, eating nothing but
intensively-managed pastures and locally-harvested stored forages in
the coldest months. We use no antibiotics, additives, genetically modified
feeds, animal byproducts, steroids, hormone implants or pour-on insecticides.
Our remote valley has no row crop industry, eliminating contamination
from agricultural or industrial chemicals. We use quiet, stress-free
management because it is the right thing to do, and for improved animal
health and meat quality. We harvest animals at approximately 18 months
and dry-age 20 days for optimal leanness and tenderness at a USDA inspected
family-owned processor. We have been finishing and selling direct for
over ten years, and have perfected a production and processing model
that gives a consistently tender delicious beef.

Boise Grassfed Beef. For the past 12 years our family and
farm have provided local, grassfed, all natural beef to families in the Treasure
Valley and the surrounding area. We have appreciated your trust as we have
raised our families together on safe, heart healthy, and delicious Scottish
Highland and Angus beef.
One of our customers' most frequent requests has been
for beef availability throughout the year rather just spring and fall. So we
are pleased to announce that Solina Farm has teamed up with one of the oldest
local ranch families in the valley. They raise exclusively Scottish Highland
cattle. Bred for their calm dispositions and ability to survive in rugged
conditions and on sparse forages, Highland cattle have never been bred
for high intensity feed lot production.
Like many breeders in the Scottish
Highland community our cattle will continue to be raised with the utmost
humane treatment. Families of cows and calves, heifers, bulls and steers
graze in family groups, never in feedlots. As always our cattle are never
given steroids, hormones, antibiotics, or other grown supplements or
implants. Steers are finished on lush grass pastures of the Boise Foothills
and on grass/alfalfa hay grown right on the ranch demonstrating a closed,
quality controlled, and sustainable system.
Please call or e-mail and, as we discuss your questions,
we can treat you to the taste of premium, grassfed Scottish Highland beef.

Campbell Triangle C Ranch is a family-owned smart pasture operation producing 100% pasture-raised and grass-finished beef without using antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, GMOs or ethanol by-products for those who recognize the exceptional value of all-grass-fed beef.
Looking for tender beef? We have been tutored in the art of seeing the external indicators on the animals that are associated with tender, flavorful meat in the inside. We have used this knowledge for years in our breeding and selection process to insure tender beef on your plate. Our breeding program is centered around Red Devons. (Click here to view a brand new video about Red Devons.)
Nutrient balanced soils produce grasses that organize the minerals into a nutrient-dense feed for our animals. During the growing season, we move our animals once or twice a day. This "grazing tall" process sequesters carbon and uses free energy from the sun—not fossil fuels! All of this ensures a healthier, more flavorful, environmentally sustainable product for you.
Most of our split-half, half, and whole beef are processed by an Abattoir located about 50 miles from our ranch. For this, we utilize on-the-farm harvest to minimize stress, and dry-age for 12-14 days. We also use a USDA packaging facility, allowing us to sell 20 or 40-pound beef bundles and ground beef by the pound. All of the USDA products are available year round.
For ordering information, pricing, a copy of our current newsletter, or if you just want to visit, contact us by phone or e-mail, or better yet, stop by the ranch!
Here at Campbell Triangle C Ranch, we raise beef with a focus on the superior health benefits—for the Earth, for the animals and for humans—that come from grass that is grown and properly harvested from nutrient-rich soils. Thank you for supporting a local ranch!

Heritage Farms is located in the beautiful Cocolalla Valley in the
Idaho Panhandle. Our animals have a symbiotic relationship with the
pastures on which they graze, each feeding the other without chemical
inputs to either.
While most chickens are raised in 100% confinement,
we've found that Pasturing our birds adds quality while making farming
simpler and environmentally friendly. On our pastures, there's an
entire ecosystem geared towards absorbing manure, eliminating pollution.
The addition of fresh green plants to the chickens' diet adds quite
a bit of flavor to the meat and eggs, while the lack of crowding
makes health problems uncommon. Eggs from Pastured Poultry
not only taste better and have darker yolks, but they are certainly
higher in vitamins and have a superior Omega-3/Omega-6 balance to
ordinary eggs. Likewise,
the meat from Pastured Poultry tastes better, while being lower in
fat and more nutritious, as well.
Our Grazing Program ensures that our cattle are always grazing on
lush green fresh grass, while at the same time replacing the broad
spectrum nutrients they are removing. Every few days the cattle are
moved to fresh pasture, and replaced by chickens, which then scatter
the beef fertilizer while adding their own variety and controlling
fly and bug populations. The chickens also convert the grass to luscious
natural meat and eggs for your dining pleasure.
Raw milk is offered to the surrounding community
through our Herdshare Program. Our dairy cows, likewise, are never
fed any grain, and are free to roam the pasture day and night. In
the winter they are fed our own organically grown hay, supplemented
with a little ground dried peas and minerals.
We offer Free-Range Eggs and the Herd Share
Program year round as well as high quality Grass Finished Beef and
Broiler/Fryer Chickens in season. Beef is sold by the whole,
half, or quarter, or frozen by the package. Orders for beef and chicken
must be placed well in advance, as we sell out early each year. Call
for availability.

Homestead Natural Foods LLC is a co-operative
of four ranching families that have joined together to bring real food
to health-conscious consumers. We’ve gone back to raising cattle,
pigs and poultry the
way our grandparents did: born and bred on natural pasture, with no hormones
or antibiotics.
Homestead Natural beef is raised antibiotic free,
growth stimulant/hormone free, and grain/corn free and are all raised
from birth to finish on a grass diet.
Homestead Natural pork is raised 100% free range
and fed a minimal amount of barley, no corn, soy beans or GMO feeds.
Homestead Natural poultry products are raised free
range on grass pasture and fed a minimal amount of grain.
Cattle, pigs and poultry raised in “concentrated
animal feeding operations” (CAFOs) may cost less at the checkout
stand, but you pay a high price in taste and nutrition. You see, beef,
pork and chicken raised on natural pasture don’t just taste better… they’re
better for you. And when it comes to flavor, just ask the folks who have
eaten our beef, pork or chicken at Idaho restaurants like the Red
Feather Lounge, Bitter
creek Alehouse, Café d’Paris, Jenny's
Lunch Line, Lucky 13, St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Galena
Lodge, Segos and CKs in Sun Valley, Brick
29 in Nampa and Bon Appetit in Caldwell.
Beef, pork and chicken raised with sustainable agricultural
practices may cost more, but like our grandparents would have told you,
you get what you pay for. And when it comes to your health, isn’t
that worth a little extra?
NOTE: Homestead Natural Foods has a local delivery
option if you live within 100 miles of the Boise, Idaho metro area, OR
in Twin Falls, Idaho. We deliver every Tuesday.

Lava Lake Lamb is 100% natural Idaho grass-fed lamb – never
placed in a feed lot, never given any hormones, never given antibiotics.
Our lambs graze with their mothers and continue to
drink mother’s milk all their lives, getting important antibodies
for good health and vitality, and making the best-tasting meat. Lava
Lake’s lambs also spend most of their lives grazing on wild, fragrant
range grasses, herbs and other plants, as Nature intended.
Raised with care by our experienced shepherds, our
lambs are truly “free-range.” Traveling from the deserts
of the Snake River Plain to the high mountains near Sun Valley, our animals
log hundreds of miles during their lifetimes
– they are never confined in feedlots. The result is meat that
is lean yet tender and flavorful – we think you’ll find it
the best you’ve tasted.
Our headquarters is Lava Lake Ranch, located just
southeast of Sun Valley in Idaho’s Pioneer Mountains. As a family
of ranchers and environmentalists, we are committed to restoring and
preserving this land because of its history, its beauty and its biological
diversity. We are so committed to this principle that all net profits
from our grass-fed lamb sales help fund our land conservation work.
Lava Lake Lamb is available year-round and can be
purchased by individual cuts, halves or wholes and shipped anywhere in
the U.S. It is USDA-inspected, dry-aged for ten days, then frozen and
cryovaced to retain its freshness and flavor.

that great tasting meat can be healthy for you while being produced using
humane, sustainable poly culture practices. We are family owned and operated,
residing in the high desert region of Malheur County in southeastern
Oregon.
At Malheur River Meats we believe that producing

Rocky A Ranch is nestled under Oxford Peak
in Southeast Idaho, about 20 miles west of Preston. Our grass fed beef eat
only grass and hay that we have produced here on the Ranch, mostly
natural timothy hay.
We are certified organic by the State of Idaho,
but we go well beyond what the state requires for certification. We raise
our animals in a natural stress free environment not only because it
makes the meat healthier and better tasting, but also out of respect
for the animals that we raise. Some of the native tribes of this continent
may have had it right when they reverenced the spirit of the animal that
had given its life for the survival and health of the one consuming it.

Rolan Bison Ranch located
near Weippe Idaho raises grassfed bison. We started raising
bison because of the health benefits for our family. Now we would like
to help provide a source of healthy meat to others who are also committed
to eating healthy. Our animals are pastured on a mix of natural grasses
that are free of pesticides and herbicides. They are supplemented with
natural vitamins and minerals with absolutely no animal by-products,
growth hormone, or antibiotics. They receive no grain, but the meat
is very lean, flavorful, and tender. We use a mobile butcher because
it is more humane and eliminates unnecessary stress to the animals.
Animals that are less stressed yield a more tender, higher quality
product.
The bison meat is available in individual packages,
split halves, or halves. Because our animals are grassfed, we butcher
in the late summer or early fall. Orders are taken throughout the year
for halves or quarters to be delivered at the time of butchering. We
also sell live animals for breeding, robes, skulls, etc. You are invited
to contact us for additional information or to schedule a tour of our
ranch.

SkyLines Farm has been raising premium
grassfed lamb for families since 1992, and our customers have always
raved about the flavor. We’re now offering tender, delicious
grassfed Angus and Angus-cross beef, too.
Our lamb and beef are raised with the same organic, sustainable,
and sensible methods that we’ve used for nearly 20 years, such
as: frequent doses of nature's miracle herb Garlic, superb nutrition
including trace mineral supplements like Kelp, rotation and resting
of pastures to break parasite cycles and enhance plant and soil health,
running a closed herd for biosecurity, and much more.
Our lambs and beef never get antibiotics, hormones, vaccinations, external
pesticides, chemical wormers, or grains. They thrive on a pure 100%
grass-based diet...as ruminant animals are designed to do! In our summertime
rotational grazing program, the animals move through the farm's lush
pastures every few days, enjoying nutritious "salad bar fresh" green
grasses 24/7. We harvest in September, while the grasses are still
lush and green and lamb and beef are at their peak flavor.
Order whole or half lamb, quarter or half beef. We sell out every year,
supply is limited, so reserve early. Free delivery in fall to regional
meeting locations. (Sorry, no shipping.)

Solina Farm sells only Premium,
Natural, Grass Fed Beef.
Since 1999, Solina Farm has raised grass fed and
finished Scottish Highland heritage and Angus cattle on Boise River bottom
pastures. Grass fed Highland beef has tested lower in cholesterol than
buffalo. Naturally foraged Highland beef has a deep, red color and a
rich, complex flavor. Our grass-fed Highland beef is heart-healthy and
delicious.
We’ve seen—and eaten—the results
of the spread of feedlots and the use of chemicals, low quality cheap
feeds and heavy grain feeding. Our wish is to ensure that our children
are eating healthy meat products. We use no pesticides or chemicals of
any kind. We feed only unsprayed alfalfa and grass hays from local farmers
and ranchers who are also committed to all-natural values. We use cross-fencing
and rotational paddock grazing to increase river bottom grass vigor.
We control animal health problems with natural methods, and weeds without
herbicides.
Solina Farm is a member of AHCA (American Highland
Cattle Association) and the AHCA Quality Beef Program. We
are committed to the same natural, sustainable practices still used
by Highland cattle farmers in Scotland today. We comply with the AHCA
Quality Beef Program contract and our own ethics which require humane
handling, no usage of antibiotics, hormones, steroids, or non-vegetarian
feeds, slaughter before 36 months of age, and a minimum of 14 days
hanging time to ensure consistent high quality, tender, delicious beef.
Solina Farm's natural, grass fed Highland beef is
available no less than four times per year. Quantities are limited due
to limited availability of grass pasture in the expanding Boise River
Valley. We can deliver in the Boise area. Please call or e-mail so we
can understand your values and work out the details of your needs.

Wilsey Ranch has been family owned
and operated for 30 years Our cattle run on intensively managed
range in the Owyhee mountains their entire lives, feeding
on a unique mix of grass and forbs. We supplement them with
ranch-raised hay in the winter months, and they are finished
on irrigated meadows in the summer. They are given no hormones,
antibiotics, animal byproducts, or genetically modified feeds;
they are as natural as a cow can get. We handle our cattle
humanely with the least amount of stress possible.
Our beef has an excellent flavor, rich
full texture and is aged 25 days for optimum tenderness.
We use a USDA inspected, family-owned processor who will
cut and wrap to your specifications.
Currently we offer beef in whole,
half, or split half for summer and fall harvest.
For ordering information or a brochure
you can contact us by e-mail, phone or regular mail.
