B & B Family Farm is a family owned farm in northwest GA. We raise Heritage Breed Pineywoods cattle, pastured Heritage Breed Large Black hogs and Heritage Breed Dominique chickens for truly free range eggs.
Our cattle are 100% grass-fed; no grain or animal by-products ever. We use no hormones, antibiotics or de-wormers. We mix our own supplement per Joel Salatin’s Icelandic kelp recipe found in his book “You Can Farm.” Our cattle are moved every day to fresh grass and get a hearty supply of the famous Cave Spring water. The spring water has won awards for purity and taste. When natural forages are in short supply we feed only locally sourced hay.
Frequently moving our hogs provides them free access both pastures and woodlots where they enjoy forages, roots, nuts and persimmons. We supplement with locally grown grains using no hormones, antibiotics or de-wormers.
We provide beef in whole/half/split-quarter and pork in whole/half for bulk orders. We do have retail cuts available periodically at the farm store. Call Elizabeth or Russ for more information. Have a healthy day!

Dennis Farms is located in east central Alabama, 7 miles from the Georgia state line. We grow lush, nutritious grass in our pastures using management intensive grazing principles to insure our animals are eating the grass at its best while improving our soils. We raise Red Angus cattle, Katahdin hair sheep and Tamworth heritage pigs to harvest our grass. At the appropriate stage of maturity, we harvest our animals to produce nutritious and delicious grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb and pastured pork.
We raise our cows, sheep and pigs in a natural pastoral environment never giving growth-promoting antibiotics, hormones, or steroids. We believe that contented animals produce a superior product, so we strive for a low stress environment emphasizing the humane treatment of our livestock. We follow a strict grass-fed protocol with our cows and sheep, never feeding grain, animal byproducts or feed supplements. Our pigs graze the pasture along with the cows and sheep and receive supplemental grain as needed. The pigs are never on a self-feeder and we do not use farrowing crates.
Please take some time and explore our web site to better know us and our farm. You can also follow us on Facebook. We are proud of the effort we make to provide our customers a quality product that tastes good and is good for them.
Dennis Farms grass-fed beef is currently offered as whole cow “Primeburger.” Meat from the entire cow is evenly mixed together to provide a ground beef product with a taste and texture that’s like eating steak in a patty. Our Tamworth whole hog sausage consists of 100% of the meat from the hog and is much leaner, healthier and tastier than grocery store sausage. Pigs for roasting, halves and wholes are also available. Our grass-fed lamb comes as ground, chops and roasts and has the lighter more delicate flavor one gets from hair sheep. All of our animals are processed in a USDA inspected facility.
In the NW Atlanta area, our products are available through our friends and partners, the Hammond family at “My Dad and Me Family Farm” in Powder Springs, GA. Please call Susan or Tina (678-567-1826) for pricing and availability.

Green Acres Farm is a small family farm in
the Northwest corner of Florida, less that a mile south of the Alabama-Florida border.
We moved from Pensacola, with our two children, in the spring of 2007
to develop a small-scale farm. We have learned a lot about sustainability
and the realities of the current food system over the past three years,
and we continue to learn.
Our farm philosophy is based on working
with nature. We
raise our animals on pasture, utilizing rotational grazing, compost
and organic inputs to increase the vitality of life in the soil. This
enables us to raise stronger, healthier animals, and, in turn, clean,
nutrient-rich food for our local community.
We currently raise Grass Fed Lamb and Cracker Cattle, Pasture Raised Broilers, Turkeys and Tamworth Heritage Hogs.
Send us an email to join our email list and receive our Spring and Fall Menu and Order Form.

R & R Katahdin Hair Sheep Ranch raises all-natural grass fed American lambs for meat.
We use only natural fertilizers to grow our own forage to grow out our lambs. We are one of the few American lamb producers in the southeast US that produce all natural grass fed (gourmet) lamb carcasses that have a dress weight from 65 to 95 pounds and are under one year of age. Our young lambs dress out at 50% of their live weight.
When you purchase a grass fed lamb from our ranch you pay a per pound fee for the dress-out hanging weight of the lamb. This price covers the delivery from the Ranch to Westville Meats, a new USDA-inspected processing plant in Westville, Florida.
By USDA law we can only sell you a whole lamb carcass that has been inspected by a USDA inspector. If you need to purchase just a few lamb cuts, contact Westville meats at (850) 548-1201.
For more information visit our website or e-mail. Please contact Ron Prokop for current prices on lamb and processing fees.
Thank you.

Red Hill Farms was established March 4, 1941 when James Martin Bryant and family were forced off their Ohatchee Alabama farm to make way for the Pelham Range training area of Fort McClellan. Farm production at the Cropwell Alabama farm included cotton, honey, pork, poultry, cows and vegetables. Today we still continue to raise beef cattle and hay, but lately we've given a second look to an old craft: Poultry.
We haven't produced chicken for profit on the farm in over 50 years. We are now raising pastured poultry. What a joy it is to not only produce a good product, but a product that is good for you and your family. Our birds start out in a brooder to simulate being raised by a mother hen. At two to three weeks depending on development and weather conditions, the chicks are moved out to pasture and reside in a mobile coop that not only allows for plenty of fresh air and sunshine but protection from predators and the elements. The coop is moved once each day at first and then twice each day in the latter stage of growth.
Once outside the chicks consume grass, clovers, bugs, worms, and a healthy ration of ground whole grains mixed with all natural Fertrell Poultry Balancer to round out a perfect diet for a healthy chicken. This process doesn't include any type of antibiotics or unnatural ingredients that would be passed on to your family.
We are in production from Spring into the Fall, but supplies are limited so call in advance for pick up arrangements. You can pickup fresh on processing day (bring your cooler and ice) or pick them up frozen. For large quantities a drop point may be arranged.
