Healthy Tasty Beef is raised
at Walnut Grove Farm, which has been in the family since 1935. Our grass-fed,
grass-finished operation sells only beef born and raised on these
acres in NW Arkansas. We offer overnight shipping by ground to the Memphis,
Tennessee area.
Our pure-bred Hereford cattle are grazed
in pastures of mixed grass. The summer pastures are primarily Bermuda
grass, White Clover, Red Clover and Lespedeza. Late winter and spring
find the cattle feeding on Annual Rye Grass, Wheat and Fescue. Cattle
being prepared for harvest in the winter time are supplemented with
top quality alfalfa hay. We use managed intensive grazing and
never graze forage older than second stage growth. Cattle drink
clear fresh water from tanks in their pastures, not water from ponds
they've been standing in.
Our beef is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids,
beta carotene, vitamin E and CLA. They are raised free of stress.
No grains, hormones, or antibiotics are used in producing this meat for
you. Our farming methods are environmentally friendly. No pesticides
are used on our pastures. Meat is USDA certified, vacuum sealed
and flash frozen. The great flavor is rich and robust.

Lone Oak Farm is unlike traditional cattle
farms in that Pat Hankins has a tremendous passion for the “process” of
farming. With more than 20 years of farming experience on very large
farms, he decided to take a different approach.
Pat's vision for Lone Oak Farm is one of purism.
He is raising 100% grass fed Tennessee beef in a strict organic
(not certified) environment. His cattle are inoculated for normal bovine
maladies, but NO antibiotics are used. He NEVER uses hormone supplements,
NOR do his animals receive animal by-product feed. NO chemical insecticides
or chemical worming medicines are used.
Depending on the season, Pat has a variety of cuts
of meat available. Because Lone Oak Farm is smaller in scale than most
farms, we do not ship our beef. We feel that shipping all around the
country we would be destroying the very environment that we are trying
to preserve. We make local deliveries or you may pick up directly
from the butcher.
Pat Hankins is passionate about sharing the environmental
and health benefits of raising and consuming grass-fed beef. To learn

Rolling Hills Farm is dedicated to make
sure our processes are natural and sustainable. We do not feed our
animals antibiotics or use any growth hormones. Our animals enjoy the
sunshine and fresh air, they have fresh natural spring water to drink
and fresh pastures to roam.
We currently offer beef by the side,
split side, or sampler package. The beef is vacuum-sealed and frozen
at our local USDA inspected processor. Your meat can be picked up at
the farm. We also have a monthly meat and eggs CSA; local pickup locations
are listed on our website.
Just like our grandparents, we raise our animals
in a humane method that allows them to enjoy being exactly what they
are. If God put them on the earth to graze in tall fresh grass, they
will graze in tall fresh grass. If they were meant to dig up roots and
tubers and enjoy acorns and chestnuts, that is the environment we try
to provide. They may enjoy dust baths, eating bugs and fresh shoots of
grass. You will be confident of the wisdom of this approach once you
try our fresh pastured eggs or beef.

The Sanders Farm is located in the foothills
of Clinch Mountain in upper east Tennessee, close to neighboring Kentucky,
Virginia and North Carolina. We have tended a small beef cow/calf
herd at our family farm since 1979.
We have kept our pasture and hayfields herbicide
and pesticide-free for those 30 years. We use no antibiotics, pesticides
or growth stimulants of any kind on any animal to be sold on Eatwild.
Flies are kept under control with a walk-through fly trap. The calves
I am selling eat only our own pasture and hay and mother's milk. They
are always free-ranging with their mothers and the rest of the closed
herd until the day they are processed.
I prefer to sell my calves whole in the late Spring
or Fall. Hanging weight is around 300 pounds and take-home meat averages
200 pounds. I deliver your calf to a local butcher and you pick up your
frozen meat there. You decide how long you want your meat aged and how
you want it cut and packaged. My price is $2.50 per pound of hanging
weight and the butcher charges around $.40 per pound based on hanging
weight.
I also at times have milk and grass-finished beef
by the package. It is USDA inspected and weighed, vacuum-packed and frozen.
I will email you a price list. Pickup for this meat would be in the Rogersville,
TN area.
We would rather sell our beef calves to individuals
who want untainted beef than into the feedlot industry where they live
a little longer but in an unnatural and highly stressful way.

Shady Grove Farm is located in rural east
TN at the edge of the Cumberland Plateau west of Knoxville. We are
a small family farm with 80 acres of pasture and woods. We also manage
two adjacent parcels for grazing. We offer grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb,
pastured poultry, and free-range eggs.
We began farming with the intent to raise our own
foods products to know first hand the origin and health of our meats.
We enjoyed the food and farming so much that we began offering our meats
to family and then friends. Since then our customer base has continued
to grow by word of mouth until this year when we expanded through advertising.
We only sell what we ourselves would eat.
Our animals are moved twice daily to new pasture
using management intensive grazing techniques. These techniques allow
more evenly distributed fertilization, long rest times before re-grazing,
and help in the healing of the land. Healthy land produces healthy food
which in turns produces healthy people.
Feeds for our animals consist of grasses, hay, and
minerals for the cattle and sheep. The poultry receive only natural grain
based feeds along with what nature provides in the way of grasses/greens,
seeds, and bugs.
"Local" is the key to knowing where your
food comes from and how it is raised. The majority of our customers
are within a 200 mile radius ranging from Knoxville to Cookville and
as far south as Chattanooga.
We welcome visitors to our farm to observe first
hand how a healthy farm is managed. Come for a visit.

Tennessee Grass Fed is the name we use for the locally grown grass-fed
meats produced on the Baggett Family Farm which is located in the Sango community of Clarksville/
Montgomery County, TN. Our family has owned the land since 1837. We produce 100% grass-fed beef as well as free-range chickens and pastured pork, all without hormones or antibiotics.
All meats are processed under USDA Inspection. Our beef is dry aged to intensify its natural flavors.
When the taste of beef produced with our select native grasses and clovers is then further enhanced
by dry-aging, the eating experience created becomes memorable, regardless of the cut being served.
All animals are allowed to graze/roam without close confinement. No cages or crates
are ever used.
All our products are available through our
website and can be picked up at the farm or delivered

Wisner Farms produces 100% grass fed beef, farm raised and pastured pork, grass fed lamb and goat, pasture raised chicken, duck, turkey and eggs.
We use no steroids, hormones, pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and un-necsesary feed additives. Our farming practices are organic (but not certified) and our goal is to maximize Omega 3's through grass feeding and rotational grazing our animals on native grasses and legumes.
Meats are humanly processed by a certified USDA local family facility and vacuum packed. We offer by the cut for beef, pork, lamb, and goat, as well as freezer beef (wholes, 1/2s & 1/4s), pork (1/2s or wholes) and lamb/goat (wholes only).
We ship frozen meat products regionally and deliver product orders through our CSA. We offer our customers a flexible CSA Membership, which allows purchase of all our farm products 12 months per year. Membership is $25 for the year and with order and payment on-line. Members select products and quantiites to purchase and only one product per month is required to keep memberships active. CSA members benefit from our "farm bucks" and bulk order discounted products.
We deliver product orders for pick up weekly at either Farmer's Market locations, or other designated drop sites in the general Knoxville area.
