BUYING CLUBS

In a typical buying club, farmers consolidate orders from a number of customers and deliver them to a central location, typically a customer’s home. If you want to join a buying club in your area, contact the appropriate people below:

Crown S Ranch has organized a buying club for Puget Sound vicinity residents. There is a minimum beef share order with add-on options of pork, sausage, turkey and chicken, and eggs. Additional options include organic unpasteurized milk from the Methow Valley Creamery, organic heirloom grains from the Bluebird Grain Farms, and organic seasoning packs from Hannah's Herb Garden. Cascade Range Beef Company will deliver to any address within the greater Seattle area (from Olympia to Snohomish County) for a minimum $50 delivery fee. Actual delivery fee is based on order amount and your address. Orders may also be picked up at the USDA-inspected meat processing facility in Seattle. Details available on their website.

Hoh Humm Ranch will deliver custom-cut, freezer-wrapped beef in the Puget Sound area for $5.00 per pound. There is a 50-pound minimum on the order.

Lents Food Buying Club. A group of individuals in Lents / PDX / East Portland / Vancouver have formed a food buying club to cooperatively buy in bulk to get the best value. Lopez Island Farm delivers regularly to customers in Seattle, Bainbridge Island, and Tacoma.

Pride and Joy Dairy in Granger, WA is continually updating their delivery routes based on demand, and are open to new requests to start additional buying cllubs. Contact them directly via their website for more information.
