Arrowhead Beef provides USDA-inspected, farm-direct, grass-fed beef from Florida. Founded in 2010 by George Fisher, of Chipley, FL, Arrowhead Beef is a co-operative of family farms that raise the very limited French breed of lean Parthenais cattle.

In the spirit of returning to an era of simple, nutritious and locally-grown foods, Arrowhead Beef answered your call.

We are the original “farm direct grass-fed beef from Florida.”

The farm is located near Chipley, on the Florida Panhandle, where co-owner George Fisher oversees all aspects of raising the livestock and farm operations. The program truly began back in 1976 with Limousin seedstock production and what has grown out of that is what has become Arrowhead Beef.

A significant portion of George’s operation revolves around the production and conservation of forages. In addition to perennial pastures, there are several varieties of forage crops produced on for Arrowhead Beef. These forages are grazed or conserved as hay or round bale silage.

The other owner of Arrowhead Beef is Tony DeBlauw, who joined with George in 2013, coming over as a passionate consumer who wanted to provide like-minded individuals with better access to quality meats. While George tends to the animals while they're alive, Tony oversees all matters related to sales, marketing and distribution.

Cattle are raised in what we call “herd-life harmony™”, which surmises the idea of the traditional methods of pasture-raised beef, a life in which the animals never undergo stress and lead an idyllic farm life. Beef processing and aging are performed in small batches, with utmost integrity and workmanship in local, USDA-inspected facilities which are also owned by George Fisher.

Together, we here at Arrowhead Beef are one of only two farms in the entire state of Florida that legitimately raise, butcher and distribute their own meats. By being completely "cradle-to-grave" we are able to manage every level of production and ensure the highest level of quality in every piece of meat that we sell.

Dennis Farms is located in east central Alabama, 7 miles from the Georgia state line. We grow lush, nutritious grass in our pastures using management intensive grazing principles to insure our animals are eating the grass at its best while improving our soils. We raise Red Angus cattle, Katahdin hair sheep and Tamworth heritage pigs to harvest our grass. At the appropriate stage of maturity, we harvest our animals to produce nutritious and delicious grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb and pastured pork.

We raise our cows, sheep and pigs in a natural pastoral environment never giving growth-promoting antibiotics, hormones, or steroids. We believe that contented animals produce a superior product, so we strive for a low stress environment emphasizing the humane treatment of our livestock. We follow a strict grass-fed protocol with our cows and sheep, never feeding grain, animal byproducts or feed supplements.

Our pigs graze in the pasture along with the cows and sheep so that forage makes up a substantial part of their diet. In addition to the forage, the pigs get a daily serving of whey and a small measured grain ration put out by hand. With the emphasis on forage and whey, the pork we produce is tastier, leaner and healthier than pork from pigs raised on a heavy grain diet. We do not have farrowing huts or crates.

Please take some time and explore our web site to better know us and our farm. You can also follow us on Facebook. We are proud of the effort we make to provide our customers a quality product that tastes good and is good for them.

Dennis Farms' grass-fed beef is currently offered as our whole cow “Primeburger.” We take the meat from the entire cow (never cheating and pulling out the best cuts) and thoroughly mix it together before grinding to create a ground beef product with a taste and texture that’s like eating steak in a patty. "Primeburger" comes in approximately 1-pound packs.

Our Tamworth whole hog sausage also consists of the meat from the entire hog and is completely mixed prior to grinding. We also offer a variety of cuts and unseasoned ground pork. As supply permits, we have roasting pigs, sides and whole hogs available as well.

Our grass-fed lamb is available in the late fall of the year and is generally sold as a whole lamb. Our lamb has the lighter, more delicate taste that comes from hair sheep. All of our animals are humanely processed in a USDA inspected facility.

Earnest Roots Farm. Hello, we're the Morrisons. We started getting serious about this way of life in 2017 when our first baby was born. We had tons of questions like…

  • Where does our food come from?
  • Why are chemicals used to grow it?
  • What impact does our food have on our health?
  • What impact does it have on our environment?
  • How are the animals raised?
  • What are the animals fed?
  • What are GMOs?
  • What do all those food labels even mean?

Most of the population cannot answer these questions but they convinced us to become part of the movement connecting farmers back to consumers. We believe the simple phrase--“Know your Farmer, Know your Food”–has never been more achievable.

We strive to produce the healthiest, most nutrient-dense and flavorful food we can, with quality – not quantity, in mind. The meats we offer are free of any added chemicals or pharmaceuticals, and raised in an environmentally conscious manner that positively affects the ecosystem around us.

God created every plant and animal with its own unique characteristics, and they all thrive in a bio-diverse environment. We use sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices and work with nature to manage the animals to improve the land. Instead of using synthetic, petroleum-based, chemical fertilizers, we use compost and animal manure to build soil structure as well as fertility. We accomplish this using movement. Animals were not created to be raised in confinement on concrete floors, or on dirt in feed lots. Our animals are raised using portable housing and electric netting that allow us to consistently move them to fresh grass and pasture. All of this, working together, completely changes the quality of the product and your eating experience.

Visit our online store for our grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured pork, chicken, and eggs.

Feed the Earth (FTE) Farms is a market farm in northern Alabama offering pastured chicken, turkey, eggs, mushrooms, honey, and vegetables. FTE Farms uses regenerative farming practices to build up the soil, increasing the nutrient density of the food grown and produced from it. We only use non-GMO feed and eschew the use of antibiotics, vaccines, added hormones, or chemical fertilizers.

We began our journey into pastured-based, nutrient-dense foods about 15 years ago when Terry was diagnosed with a severe case of Crohn's disease. After the doctor prescribed all the medications he could, he instructed us to seek out nutrient-rich foods to nourish the body and promote its ability to heal. He specifically directed Angie to make bone broth weekly, and he emphasized the importance of pastured meats, if we could get them. That led Angie into researching which foods were nutritionally superior and ways to unlock the nutrition in our food.

As we read more about pasture-based meats and rotational grazing, we caught the vision of running our own farm and raising quality, nutrient-dense foods for our family as well as for others. In 2017, we bought an old farm and began rebuilding the house as well as building up the soil through managed intensive rotational grazing (MIRG) practices.

Though we had educated ourselves extensively through books and videos on regenerative farming, those learning tools were no replacement for hands-on experience. We have learned a lot over the past few years, through both the pains and joys of caring for our land and our livestock.

We invite you to get to know your local farmer and all the wonderful, fresh, local foodstuffs available!

Feed the Earth Farms, Terry & Angie, 6543 Old Railroad Bed Rd, Toney, AL 35773. 240-370-9879 or 240-646-4880.

Marview Farms proudly provides organically raised, grass finished beef, lamb,AGA_logo and goat, as well as woodlot pastured pork, pastured, NON-GMO chicken and eggs, raw pet food, raw cow’s milk (from Cedar Rock Dairy), and honey.

Our animals are born, pasture-raised, pasture-finished, and USDA processed here at our farm on soils cultivated using organic agricultural methods. We are American Grassfed Association certified. We take seriously the responsibility of providing clean, healthy, nutritious meats to our family and customers—with the added bonus of also providing a great eating experience!

Through a tried-and-true method of rotational grazing, our herd at Marview Farms is hormone-free and we are an antibiotic-less farm. Our animals are raised free-range, without immune system altering vaccinations or harmful steroids and insecticides. By nurturing our animals on grass alone, they are able to ingest Mother Nature’s intended nutrients.

Our pastures do not receive any chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. We make our own compost and apply carbon sources to our pastures so they can grow healthy. This has dramatically increased our farm's water-holding capacity, which means that our grasses' deep roots have moisture at times of drought and most of the water that God provides to us stays on our farm and does not run downhill to the river. Our system is also helping our earth!

Since 2009, Marview Farms has been committed to producing happier, healthier, and calmer animals than those raised on grain. Please visit our website for more details on how we raise and feed our animals.

The motto of our farm is: Our animals live the life we would like to live if we were them.

Red Briar Farms is a small, family-owned cattle farm in the foothills of the Cheaha Mountains. We raise registered heritage Highland cattle for herd improvement and sustainable meat production.

Highland cattle are particularly well suited to low stress, low management environments, and finish beautifully on grass. Due to a double hair coat, they do not need a heavy layer of backfat for insulation, allowing them to marble naturally, and produce lean, high-quality cuts of beef. Highlands are slow maturing, making their meat flavorful and succulent. Our herd is raised on wide open pastures of mixed native grasses, clover, and fescue, using rotational grazing and sustainable pasture management for the health of the land and the cattle. They are antibiotic- and hormone-free, and all grass-fed. They receive hay only the few short months of winter when the pastures are dormant. Our fescue hay is produced on our own farm.

Harvesting is done at a local certified facility to reduce stress from transportation. Beef is sold by the whole, half, or quarter carcass. We will ship. Please see the website for photos of our beautiful animals, and more information on the breed.
