Amazin' Grazin' Beef–Lee Sly. I'm a cowboy. I have made my living working other peoples' cattle. Occasionally, I would be given dogie calves and my children would raise them on a bottle. We brought a broke leg heifer calf home that had been stepped on in the pens and the Lord said, "Don't sell her, keep her." The Lord has multiplied her into 250 head of cattle over the last 25 years.

Contrary to what I've been taught all my life, grass finished beef is the answer. I believe that Florida can produce the best beef because of our year-round ability to grow grass. I use no antibiotics, chemicals, wormers, fertilizers, or fly control. These cattle are raised on the best grasses that Florida can grow all naturally. As well as grass-finished beef, we are also offering young beef.

We're now taking orders for late fall and early winter for acorn-finished pork. In addition, we offer non-acorn finished pork all year round. We are working towards adding wild tilapia fish to our list of products in the near future.

We are also offering for sale our genetics naturally raised on south Florida grasses with no hormones or antibiotics. The last group we finished were ultrasounded before slaughter. Finished totally on grass, they reached the perfect target for grainfed beef in two years. We have heifers and bull calves of all sizes and in any quantity. Hauling is available.

If you are interested in purchasing young beef, finished beef, pork or tilapia, please contact my daughter, Jessica Nehrboss at (941) 745-5630 or sales@amazingrazinbeef.com. You should receive a reply to your email in a timely manner.

Lee Sly, Bradenton FL  34208.

Country Corner Farm, located in Jackson County just 3 miles from I-10, is a family-owned pastured-based farm raising grassfed beef without the use of routine antibiotics or growth hormones. Our cattle eat only grass and hay.

Currently we are not permitted by the state to sell beef already processed. We sell only "on the hoof." This means that you and other purchasers will share the price calculated with its weight just before harvest. We can divide a carcass into 8 or 16 equal shares so that families can get the benefit of buying the bulk beef in smaller quantities while still being affordable.

For more details, call or email. We'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Deep Creek Ranch offers Angus and South Poll grass fed and finished beef as well as grass fed and finished lamb and mutton.

Herd nutrition and health is a primary management concern. All our sale livestock is harvested from our ranch and we keep records of the life history of every animal on our ranch. We treat the animals humanely and, whenever feasible, use organic methods in caring for our animals. We use a  private processor for our family's harvest, and for yours.

We sell by the whole beef, or side or split side. Lambs and mutton are whole. If you want to partner with other families, we can work with you. Our angus beef has marbling and would grade US Choice if USDA graded. Our South Poll beef is leaner, and the animals are smaller, but these animals are bred for tenderness without fat. We enjoy both at home, depending on our mood!  If you haven't enjoyed grass fed lamb, it will be a high point in your food life.

When ordering, be sure to let us know if you want some for immediate use, the rest frozen. We do not ship, but will help with delivery within 100 miles of DeLand, Florida. Delivery beyond the DeLand area requires a minimum order of $3,000 of our products.

Please call for prices and more information on our products, thank you.

DeHoWa Farms is located in north Land O’Lakes Florida and is a cooperative effort between three neighbors who proudly and humanely raise Black Angus beeves, known for their rich flavor and tender meat. Our beeves are 100% grass fed and are never given grain, antibiotics, hormones, anabolic steroids, or growth stimulants. As other grass fed facilities may “finish off” their cattle on grain, we never do.

We practice eco-friendly pasture management raising our herds on a variety of high protein Florida native and seasonal grasses. Our beeves are free ranged always and rotated to maintain the health of our pastures. By selling to the local Florida market, our carbon footprint is far reduced.

DeHoWa Farms has beef available for purchase on a year round basis. The beef is sold off of the farm and can be purchased by the quarter, half, whole or by the individual piece. Pricing will vary depending upon the quantity purchased.

Please call or email for current information regarding the available cuts and pricing.

Florida Fresh Beef Company, conveniently located in North Central Florida, produces 100% gourmet grass fed, organically raised, Aberdeen Angus beef from free-range cattle that are raised on 850 acres of lush shaded pasture in Citra, Florida. They feast on a salad bar of pesticide-free "gourmet" forage including clover, wheat, oat and rye grass.

The cattle are then harvested not more than 40 miles away at a USDA inspected facility. Once processed, the carcasses are hung in an air ventilated refrigerated locker for up to 28 days for our "old school" dry-aging process. This process naturally tenderizes the meat and enhances its taste. The beef is then cut into gourmet roasts, steaks and Angus Burger—a local Ocala favorite. Each cut of beef, whether roast or steak, is individually packed in a vacuum bag and air sealed for freshness. Beef is available by the individual cut, various Variety Packs (saving $$$), or by the whole, half, quarter or eighth beef.

Florida Fresh Beef Company, established in 2008, is proud to be one of the first companies in almost 20 years to produce fresh local meat available to the public under USDA inspection. Our relationships with various like-minded grass-fed cattle ranchers throughout the state have allowed us to develop a consistent supply of healthy, delicious, local Florida beef available in bulk or individual cuts throughout the year.

Florida Fresh Beef Company ships throughout the state of Florida, Georgia, the Bahamas and US Virgin Islands, as well as the continental USA. A South Florida supply outlet is currently in development for the distribution of both regular and Glatt Kosher beef. We have also sucessfully developed a share program for CSA’s and Buying Clubs. We can divide a carcass into 8 or 16 equal shares to make it affordable for families to get the benefit of buying the bulk beef in smaller quantities while still saving. We do the shipping!

Visit our website for information on how to order and to locate farmers markets where you can buy our beef.

4 Arrows Ranch  near Ocala, Florida raises grassfed Aberdeen Angus beef and pastured Berkshire pork on its 810 organically kept acres. Cattle are the old fashioned, heavy bodied, short bulldogs that your grand parents enjoyed before Big Agriculture decided to cross longer legged bovines to them.

All cattle that are sold are bred, born and shipped to the processor off our ranch. We do not buy market cattle as their care routines are unknown. Our Angus are uniquely designed for grass consumption and feast on a planted forage sequence which corresponds to the seasons. Thus affording us year round tender and delicious beef production.

Our pigs are Berkshires which are the kobe of porcine breeds. They do not do well in confinement which is why they are extremely happy in our program. These black porkers contentedly graze on grains and forages especially planted for them. Acorns, that are so prevalent in late summer and fall, finish the fattening process for these hogs. If you've never tasted Berkshire pork, you are in for a surprising treat. Clean, tender, juicy and unsurpassed!

Beef is dry aged for 21 to 28 days, USDA inspected and vacuum packed. This is not your characteristic grassfed beef. 4 Arrows Ranch grassfed Angus beef is restaurant quality on grass—highly marbled and flavorful.

Our new CSA—Florida Fields To Forks—offers our Grassfed Angus beef and pastured Berkshire pork. Partner ranches contribute Katahdin lamb, free-range chickens, organic free-range eggs, organic milk, organic cheese and organic vegetables.

Glades Ridge Goat Dairy raises diary goats to produce unpasteurized milk, fresh cheese [Chevre and Fromage Blanc], Kefir and yogurt.  We also produce free range eggs, and, in season, plums, peaches, pears and pecans.

Management: The dairy herd—milkers and dry does—are pastured daily. Our growing conditions are such that, with good pasture management, pasture forage is available every day. Their fresh forage is supplemented by stored forage in the form of perennial peanut hay. The milking does receive a small amount of soy-free grain [under 1 pound per day, total] on the milk stand while being milked. Laying hens are on pasture daily, and are fed supplemental grain. All of our products—dairy and eggs—are labeled “not for human consumption,” in accord with Florida law and regulation, since they are not produced or packed in an approved facility.

Check Eatwild's Florida Beyond the Farm page for the location of farmers markets and stores that carry our products.

Grandmother's Farm is a natural sustainable grass based farm cared for by my wife and I with our nine children. The farm name is a tribute to "Bami," the children's grandmother, who loved the beauty of the farm and having her grandchildren be part of it with her.

Although we are not certified organic, all of our pastures are managed organically and we do not use hormones, steroids, antibiotics or chemical wormers in our production. Our pastures are fertilized and kept pest-free strictly by organic methods. We have high quality, tender, grassfed and grass finished beef available by request. Our cows do not just stand on grass while they eat grain and chemical laden additives, grass and high quality hay is the entire diet. This is a point you need to investigate whenever you think you are buying grassfed beef. Depending on the time of year, we may also have organically grown herbs, vegetables, hanging baskets, and fruit trees.

E-mail us for beef availability. We do not ship and prefer to sell locally.

We also offer organic landscape management and pasture restoration services under the name Organic by Design. We can get you off the water polluting and health destroying monthly chemical spray and fertilization treadmill.

We moved from Pensacola, with our two children, in the spring of 2007 to develop a small-scale farm. We have learned a lot about sustainability and the realities of the current food system over the past three years, and we continue to learn.

Pasture Prime Wagyu produces 100% grass-fed American style "Kobe Beef."

We are among only a handful of farms in this country that produce 100% grass-fed "Kobe" style beef. The majority of our herd is purebred Wagyu, which gives our product a consistent expression of the Wagyu meat characteristics that have made the breed famous. Over 90% of the Wagyu meat produced in this country is only 50% Wagyu, which sometimes can lead to inconsistent product.

Our Wagyu herd was obtained from Blue Rock Cattle Co. owned by Jerry Pittenger, one of the founding fathers of the Wagyu breed in this country. Our family has been farming on the same homestead since 1976 with a commitment and passion for providing the highest quality products that nature will allow.

We currently are selling meat in 30 lb variety packs. They contain 2 filets, 2 NY strip, 2 Prime rib steaks, a roast or two, and hamburger, with the balance made up of some, but not all, of the following: flank steak, flatiron steak, shoulder steak, sirloin steak, sirloin tip steak, brisket, short ribs, kabob meat, etc. Meat can also be purchased by the quarter. Current pricing is $375 for the variety pack and $10 per pound by the quarter (packaged meat–not hanging weight).

Meat can be picked up or we offer free local delivery, We also ship via Fed-Ex anywhere in the country.

We encourage you to give us a call or come by for a visit. We are also currently fattening Mangalitsa pigs that will be available in the spring of 2010.

After his help with my own health issues I discovered the benefits of highly nutritious organic grass fed food. Our farm is dedicated to him for his help. Now we want to share our organic grass fed farming practices for your consumption as well.

We grow produce, herbs, tropical fruits, citrus, fresh poultry, eggs, and beef.

Over the years our customers requested other items, so......
We also network and coop with other small family farms to offer organic grass fed dairy, beef, lamb, buffalo, goat, chicken, turkey, pork, eggs, and dairy cheese (cow and goat) We also have many varieties of fermented foods.
All of our products are homemade with no processing.

All chickens, beef, buffalo, pork, lamb, and dairy are organic and 100% grass fed, intensive rotationally grazed and pastured free range. Start to finish. Our products are not certified organic, but we have been following organic principals for over 10 years.

We have routes that deliver our products through out Florida. E-mail us for a products and price list, and see if we service your area. So please mention where you live.

At Twin Oaks Farm we offer real eggs !! Our hens are fed a USDA certified organic feed without soy added.

Our hens roam freely all day long. They scratch for greens and bugs and just have fun being hens. Our hens have never been medicated.
The same way we raise chicken for meat, our broilers are a slow growing breed, they are fed USDA certified organic feed and are pastured.

We also have a line of 100% natural preserves that are made of fruits (fresh, farm grown or locally grown) and organic sugar.

We are not USDA certified organic yet, but we are working on it, and therefore we can not sell our eggs or chickens with the organic label even if they are.

Velper Ranch is located southeast of Tampa in rural Hardee County.

Five years of hard work have been spent establishing new grasses and legumes and dividing the land into small paddocks so that we may practice Holistic Resource Management. This allows us to rotate cattle on a daily basis so that they are continually being moved to fresh new grass.

We have developed a herd of Murray Grey and Devon cattle which are known for their genetic ability to convert grass into high quality beef.  We utilize no antibiotics or growth promoters and our cattle are raised solely on grass.

Visitors are welcome at the farm at any time to inspect our cattle which are known for their gentleness and quiet dispositions. Please call or e-mail for availability and prices.
